FUGITIVE WANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY October 28, 2016 --
If it hadn't been for an alert neighbor, an accused burglary fugitive might not have been identified.

Pierce County detectives say that sharp-eyed citizen on 117th St. South foiled Bounme Xaiyavong's home break-in. "Fortunately for us, the neighbor saw him carrying some pillow cases and knew he didn't belong where he was and confronted him. He didn't get in a fight with him, or try and stop him, but he did snap some photographs of him," says Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer. "The weird part about this case is when they left the scene they ended up getting in hit and run accident in the getaway vehicle, which the person who saw them got a good description of them when they switched drivers and fled, so we were able to catch up with them a little later on and we were able to get the female driver, the getaway driver detained. The suspect male is not detained, but we believe he's trafficking the stolen property and he is a burglar burglarizing residents, so we've identified him and we're hoping the public can help us get him caught."

He’s 30 years old, 5’9” and 165 pounds, with that huge tattoo across his neck.

He's wanted for residential burglary, thefts, and obstructing law enforcement.
