Double Murder Mystery: $10,000 reward to help find killer who gunned down men working on motorcycle

CASE UPDATE March 24, 2017 --
Family and friends of two men shot to death in Tacoma last year, Terry Northcutt and his friend Voravangso Phanmana, hope a growing reward will help solve their murders.

They posted flyers throughout Pierce County last weekend, showing the reward for information leading to an arrest is now $10,000.

"What we continue to say among our family is somebody has to know something and regardless of what happened at the scene, or the circumstances, there are other people that know and sometimes it takes many years and time for specifics to come out, but at some point they will," said Northcutt's daughter, Tracy.

KILLER WANTED IN TACOMA October 21, 2016 --
A real mystery in Tacoma after somebody shot and killed two men last Friday morning.

Detectives say they have very little to go on after witnesses heard the gunshots that killed Terry Northcutt and his friend Voravangso Phanmana

Investigators believe the two were working on Northcutt's motorcycle when they were killed at Phanmana's home near 38th and Portland Ave.

Northcutt's sister, Karen Sullivan, believes the men were in the wrong place, at the wrong time. She says her brother, who lived in Kirkland, loved to make people laugh, loved his family and sports. "My brother had a motor bike and they were up late working on the motor bike in his friend's garage and that's when someone drove up and the details aren't clear because there weren't any eyewitnesses but they were both shot and killed."

Tacoma police have found no witnesses to the shooting and no motive.

Anyone who saw a suspicious vehicle in the area of 38th and Portland Ave., or knows who was involved in the deadly shootings should call an anonymous tip into Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information.
