22-year-old man missing after visiting brother at UW

SEATTLE -- Pierce County Sheriff's detectives are looking for a man who was last seen driving away from his brother's apartment Saturday morning on the University of Washington campus.

Investigators say 22-year-old Young Hills called his ex-girlfriend in South Korea about 6:40 a.m. and told her he was lost, but he did not say where he was.

When Hill failed to return home, his friends used a “locate phone” app for Hill’s phone and received a hit in the Georgetown area of Seattle also around 6 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Since his disappearance, there has been no activity on Hills’ cell phone, his debit card or bank account, or his social media accounts.  His family describes his disappearance as highly uncharacteristic and concerning.

Young Gwang Hills is a 22-year-old Asian male, 6’2”, 185 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.  He has a sleeve of tattoos on his lower left arm.  Hills was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball hat.

Hill was driving a silver 2015 Nissan Pathfinder with Washington State license plate number AZD4388.
