Transient man found shot to death in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Police in Tacoma say they are investigating the death of a 32-year-old transient man as a homicide.


The News Tribune reports police were called Tuesday morning after the man's body was found in the 3100 block of South 23rd St.

Pierce County medical examiners identified the man as Dustin Kopp.

Examiners say he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

No further information was immediately available.
