Couple ties knot at Seahawks-themed tailgate wedding

SEATTLE -- Angela Lynn Rasmussen and Alexei Leonidovich Krasnoselsky tied the knot Sunday in Hawk Alley before the Seahawks took on the Falcons at CenturyLink Field.

The two wore custom jerseys, and Angela had a Seahawks veil and accessories.

Their ceremony was officiated by the "Sea-Pope" aka Gary Buchanan, a Universal Life minister.

For their vows, the happy couple passed and then signed a football.

The couple met seven years ago at the University of Washington.

They are both very accomplished individuals. Angela has two master’s degrees and a Ph.D., all in microbiology, from Columbia Mailman School of Public Health in New York. She currently works as a virologist and faculty member at the University.

Alexei graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University and received a Ph.D. in protein chemistry from the Shemyakin Institute for Bio-Organic Chemistry. He also earned a master’s in digital imaging science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Alexei works as a data scientist at Apptio, a company in Bellevue.

Congratulations!
