Mill Creek police searching for 2 car prowlers who brutally beat Snohomish County homeowner

MILL CREEK, Wash.  --  Police are on the hunt for two violent car prowlers, after a brutal beating left one Snohomish County man unconscious.

The victim is fearful to show his face, but he refuses to be silenced by fear.  Mill Creek police say this suspect sketch is one of two men who attacked the victim in his driveway around 3 a.m.  That’s when the victim says he came outside to investigate some strange noises, only to find one suspect inside his car; the other inside his garage.

The victim says he confronted the suspect in the car, but never saw the second guy coming.

“He hit me hard. They put me on the ground and then both those guys started to hit me on the ground. Then I passed out, probably for at least one minute, because I saw stars in my head,” says the victim.

He says he finally came to and stumbled into his house.  His wife called 911.

While Mill Creek police say you should never take matters into your own hands, they’re also very concerned, as the suspect’s violent behavior isn’t common.

“Typically, they’ll just flee when confronted, so this is concerning they stayed to get involved in a physical confrontation,” says Police Chief Greg Elwin.

Investigators say the suspect is 18-22 years old, 5-foot-4 with a skinny build, 130 to 140 pounds.  He has dark eyes and short, wavy black hair; possibly a ponytail.  If you know anything call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
