SEATTLE — Russell Wilson and the 2-1 Seattle Seahawks hope to build on last week’s strong performance as they take on the 1-2 New York Jets.
Wilson is a bit battered and bruised, with his ankles taped and his knee in a brace. Still, the fourth year quarterback increasingly known for his toughness will start against a Jets defense giving up 284 yards per game in the air.
With Thomas Rawls out, running back Christine Michael will take a majority of the carries, hoping to continue his success after last week’s 106-yard game against the 49ers. Tight end Jimmy Graham also hopes to build on last week’s performance, where he brought in six catches for 100 yards.
The Jets will go without wide receiver Eric Decker, a big loss for quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who gave up an astonishing six interceptions last week against the Bills.
The Hawks are favored by 2.5 points. The game starts at 10 a.m., with pregame coverage available on Q13 News This Morning on JOEtv.
Dave Wyman — You don’t want to see Russell run around too much on those ankles and knee. You have to protect him.

Brandon Marshall beats Richard Sherman for 41 yards. Don’t see that too often…
Doug Baldwin takes a hit, but holds on for 37 yards.
At the half, it’s Seahawks 14- Jets 10.
Sure, we doubted his health. But we should have known better. Read our game wrap up here: http://q13fox.com/2016/10/02/seahawks-wilson-dominate-in-27-17-win-over-jets/
