Fans say seeing 'The Boss' was worth the wait

SEATTLE - Bruce Springsteen fans lined up around the block outside Elliot Bay Book Company for a chance to meet “The Boss” himself.

Springsteen stopped off in Seattle as part of a book tour promoting his new autobiography "Born to Run"

Fans we spoke with said the long wait was totally worth it.

“We didn’t even notice were just talking the whole time. There's so many people here to talk to,” said one fan.

“It's his world, he’s one of the few people in the world I'd wait in line to see,” said another.

Even the county gushed a little bit about Bruce's visit. To celebrate Bruce's trip to Seattle, King County officially declared today to be Bruce Springsteen Born to Run Day to honor Springsteen for his artistry and activism.
