Crash involving motorcycle slows morning commute through downtown Seattle
SEATTLE -- Troopers are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle Wednesday morning on Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle.
Few details about the crash were immediately known, but WSDOT said there was a 6-mile backup on northbound I-5.
The crash was blocking two left lanes of the freeway and the University Street on-ramp.
Transportation officials advised drivers to use alternate northbound routes, such as SR 99 and I-405, but they warned all routes would likely see delays.
