Man found shot dead in car; Federal Way police investigating as possible road rage incident

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a car late Monday in Federal Way. Investigators say the shooting may have stemmed from a road rage incident that started in northeast Tacoma.

According to Federal Way police spokesperson Cathy Schrock, Someone called 911 around 10:30 p.m. Monday to the report of gunshots in the 32800 block of Hoyt Rd. When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man dead in a parked car.

Police say the exact circumstances are under investigation. They have not released a suspect or vehicle description.

Officers said SW Hoyt Rd. would remain closed Tuesday morning during the investigation between SW 320th and 340th.
