Beast Mode chimes in on Colin Kaepernick controversy

Marshawn Lynch may not play football anymore, but he continues to be active in the football community.

The former Seahawks running back appeared on last night's episode of "Conan" and was asked by host Conan O'Brien about his thoughts on Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the National Anthem at 49ers games.

Kaepernick says he's doing it to raise awareness about the country's racial injustices.

Lynch said "I'd rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up, and get murdered."

He continued to say "They've got to start somewhere" and "I just hope people open their eyes and see there's really a problem going on and something needs to be done for it to stop."
