Police searching for possible arsonist after woman injured in Everett fire

EVERETT, Wash. -- Police are searching for a possible arsonist after a woman was injured in a house fire early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the report of fire at a home in the 1200 block of Poplar Street. A 50-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.

Police said arson detectives were at the scene investigating. Photos from police showed the charred front door of the home.

Investigators said they are looking for a man who may be involved in setting the fire, but they have not released a description.
