Man who reportedly works in child play area at fair arrested on drugs, indecent exposure charges

TACOMA, Wash. -- A 57-year-old man who works at the 'kids Corral' area of the Washington State Fair in Puyallup has been arrested for possession of meth and indecent exposure, according to court documents Wednesday.

The man hasn't been formally charged yet.

In court documents, a Tacoma police officer said he was dispatched to a residence Tuesday night to investigate a report of a man masturbating in a front yard. The officer tracked the suspect down and the man said he was peeing, not masturbating, in the yard.

The officer said a records check revealed that the suspect had been charged twice before for indecent conduct. He was then arrested.

A search revealed a baggie containing a crystal substance that later field-tested positive for methamphetamine, the officer said. According to court documents, the suspect stated that he works at the fair in the "kids Corral" play area and at first he said he did meth while at work that day, but then changed his story and said he hadn't, the officer reported.
