Two charged in woman's heroin overdose death in Bremerton

BREMERTON, Wash. -- Two people have been charged in the heroin overdose death of a 31-year-old woman in Bremerton.

The Kitsap Sun reports that Tylar Pryor was found unresponsive after using heroin on Aug. 28. She died days later at a hospital after being taken off life support.

The 24-year-old man suspected of selling the heroin Pryor used has been charged with controlled substance homicide and delivery of a controlled substance.

A 25-year-old woman accused of buying the heroin and helping prepare the drug for Pryor's use is charged with being an accomplice in the case.

Authorities say the woman cooperated with police and set up another drug deal to help officers catch the male suspect.

Both suspects have been jailed.
