Bothell business owner says thief cut the lights, stole thousands

BOTHELL  --  A Bothell business owner says thieves cut the lights before breaking in and stealing his livelihood.

Rachman Cantrell owns Bothell Jewelers and Collectibles on Main St.  He says the burglary happened over the weekend.

Bothell Police say someone cut the power to the building, broke in through the back door and cracked open the vault.

Cantrell says the thief got away with sapphire, emerald and ruby earrings, an antique brooch, vintage cameos and all kinds of gold.

Cantrell says he’s working with his insurance to see how much they’ll cover.  He had surveillance cameras, but since the thief cut the power, the cameras didn’t capture anything.  If you have any information, call police.
