CAPTURED: Marcus Willis: sex offender accused in DV attack on woman and daughter

WILLIS 2

UPDATE --  Marcus Willis was arrested and booked by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office on June 17, 2017.   Deputies say he is currently in custody at  a medical treatment facility. Once he is released, he will be extradited to Seattle where he is charged with Assault.

WANTED IN SEATTLE --
Marcus Willis is a convicted rapist who Seattle Police say has sworn to kill any officers who contact him, because he is not going back to prison.

Willis was convicted in 2005 for raping a 14 year old and spent time in prison.

Now he is wanted by the Department of Corrections for Escape from Community Custody.

But, Seattle Police are also searching for him for domestic violence after they say he assaulted his girlfriend when she grabbed her child, jumped out of his car and tried to get away from him out of fear for her safety. "He actually assaulted the victim while she was carrying a two year old child. He charges them, knocks her down and she's carrying the child. She falls on the child. I mean, the child could have hit her head, could've died,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.

A Good Samaritan saw what was happening and stopped the car and yelled that she was calling the police. Detectives say Willis jumped in his grandmother's car and drove off.

Detectives say he is armed with a semi-automatic pistol and has used it to threaten to kill the victim and himself -- saying he will not go back to prison.

"16 felony convictions. Are you kidding me? These are the convictions for Burglary, Assault, Drugs, Rape, Domestic Violence, Possession of Stolen Drugs, Prescription drugs, Theft, Assault, Unlawful Imprisonment. Seriously, we need to take this guy off the street,” adds Carner.

Marcus Willis is 6’2”, weighs 195 pounds and is 41 years old.

He's known to hang out in the Broadway area of Capitol Hill.
