Beast Mode is back on the field! Lynch takes snaps with old college squad

It's been a few months since Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch hung up his cleats and retired from the NFL.

But as Fox Sports reports, he's back on the field -- with his former college team the California Golden Bears.

Cal tweeted several photos of Beast Mode who went on the team's trip to Australia to take snaps at running back with the scout team. (Just imagine how that must have felt for the players lining up against him!)

"He came out to practice (Tuesday), watched practice, actually suited out and took a couple reps as the scout-team running back," Cal coach Sonny Dykes told ESPN. "He loves young people and trying to have an impact on them. He does a lot of things that people don't know about behind the scenes. We're lucky to have him around."

Cal opens their season against Hawaii in Australia on Friday, Aug. 26.
