Woman pulled over in stolen car allegedly tells deputies she was looking for drug dealer

SPANAWAY, Wash. – A woman pulled in a stolen car in Spanaway allegedly told Pierce County sheriff’s deputies she was looking for her drug dealer.

Gang unit deputies were driving through Spanaway when they noticed the car in front of them was listed as stolen. The car soon pulled into a driveway, so deputies pulled in behind and arrested the 24-year-old driver.

The woman told the deputies she’d stopped at the home because she was looking for a friend who lived there, but the elderly residents came out and said they didn’t know the woman or the friend.

At that point, deputies said, the woman changed her story and said she was looking for her drug dealer.

The woman then asked the deputies to get her backpack from the trunk because it contained her take-home detox kit. The deputies said they also found heroin in the backpack.

The woman’s license was suspended and she has felony convictions for residential burglary and robbery. She was booked into Pierce County jail.

The woman allegedly told the deputies she'd recently gotten things back on track and they were ruining her life.
