**Embargo: Nashville, TN** Jessica and Austin O'Neal married in a Nashville hospital so their grandmother could be there.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Nashville area couple is making headlines after tying the knot at a hospital, WSMV reported.

The couple had to change their wedding plans after the groom’s grandmother had a heart attack.

Janice O’Neal was supposed to officiate the wedding on Wednesday morning.

Instead of calling off the wedding, Jessica and Austin O’Neal exchanged vows inside the emergency room at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center.

Janice was feeling well enough to officiate the wedding as planned.

The couple could not postpone the wedding because Austin, who is a Marine, has to deploy on Monday. His wife serves in the National Guard.
