Armed Hard Hat-wearing robber: Suspect wears construction cap to hit sandwich shop at knifepoint

WANTED IN EDMONDS --
Edmonds Police need your help identifying an armed sandwich shop robber.

Surveillance video shows him going into a Subway restaurant on Highway 99. Then, he heads straight for the worker behind the counter, where detectives say he demanded cash from the register at knife point.

"He came in wearing everything you need for a robbery. Full face covering. Only his eyes were visible. Had a Hard Hat on. I've never seen anyone rob a store with a Hard Hat, but this guy did,” says Edmonds Police Sgt. Shane Hawley.

Detectives hope the robber’s unique sweatshirt, like the one shown above, will help identify him: It has a "Penn Cove Shellfish" logo on it.
