Fourth of July Firebug: Help identify trailer arson suspect who hit on holiday

arsonWANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY --
Watch the Fourth of July night get lit up with flames -- not fireworks -- as an arsonist sets a Pierce County trailer on fire.

“Usually in the dark we don't get good videos, but in this particular video, once the fire's lit you can see the suspect run out of the trailer after he enters it and intentionally sets the trailer ablaze,” says Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer. “The thing that's unusual about the guy running away is that he looks like he's taking off in a direction and he knows where he's going, so maybe it's someone who's familiar with the area. It was dark when they got there, so dark they probably had to know the area to get in there to do it, so it's probably somebody that someone knows from that particular neighborhood."

The trailer sat on a lot near 170th St. East and 86th Ave. E. in the South Hill area of Pierce County, just south of Puyallup.
