Auburn police investigating death of homeless man as a homicide

AUBURN, Wash.– Auburn police said Thursday they are investigating the death of a man on a trail in Fenster Park as a homicide.

“We have identified the deceased and have determined that the male victim in his mid-twenties was homeless and living in a tent near the Green River,” police said in a statement. “We are investigating the incident as a homicide and are working several leads.”

The body was found in the area at 3022 4th St. Se in Auburn.


Police said no additional information would be released at this time.
