Cops: 2 men stab each other in Kent, ending up in busy intersection

KENT, Wash. -- Kent police are investigating a stabbing that left two men wounded in a busy street Tuesday morning.

Officers were called around 11 a.m. to the intersection of Pacific Hwy S & Kent Des Moines Rd in Kent.

Police say a man approached another man at a bus stop near the intersection. The first man stabbed the other with an unknown object and ran.

Investigators say the second man chased him around businesses in the area out into oncoming traffic where he stabbed the first man.

Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities said their conditions were not immediately known.

Investigators are interviewing potential witnesses. The motives are not known.
