Several shots fired outside Broadway bar, no injuries reported

SEATTLE -- Seattle Police are investigating after gunfire erupted outside a Capitol Hill bar Saturday morning.

Officers working on the recently expanded Nightlife Emphasis patrol reported hearing six or seven shots north of Broadway and East Pine Street around 2:15 a.m.

When they reached the site of the gunfire, police spotted a man running from the scene.

He told officers a man had shot at him and a friend for unknown reasons.

Police said shortly after telling them that, the victim became uncooperative.

Officers counted six shell casings in the parking lot and found a broken window at a nearby apartment complex.

The resident was unharmed and no other injuries were reported.
