Grocery-stealing goon: Thief caught on camera stealing 'Amazon Fresh' bags from porch

AMAZONWANTED IN SEATTLE --
The boldness of some thieves just continues to amaze me.

Would you ever go up on somebody's porch and just steal their package? Well, maybe this suspect was just hungry?

Detectives say he was caught on video in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle on N. 55th St. at about 5:30 on a Sunday morning stealing two Amazon Fresh packages from a family.

Retired Seattle Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound walks us through the video. "He walks up to the porch and you're going to get a real good look at this guy. Very distinctive clothing and so forth and he's kind of looking around and you can just imagine his mind going, 'I wonder who's watching?' Then he grabs the package, he walks off the porch and heads back the same direction that he was coming in. About a minute later, he returns. He comes up but this time before he hits the porch, he actually puts on sunglasses as if we're not going to know who it is, so he goes up on the porch and he picks up the package. This time, he kind of seems to be in a hurry. He jumps off the porch and heads the opposite direction and disappears out of the camera’s sight. This is kind of a new twist, but he's still a felon and he's still stealing stuff."

He was wearing a blue hat with a red logo on the front, brown jacket, long tan cargo shorts with white socks and black tennis shoes and he was carrying a big black and grey backpack.
