Suspect arrested after DNA, fingerprints link criminal crew to massive copper wire theft

Jason Priest was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on Monday.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN LINCOLN AND SPOKANE COUNTY --
Jason Priest is the last of four suspects still wanted in massive copper-stealing case in Lincoln county.

Detectives say DNA from the smokes and fingerprints from a flashlight linked the criminal crew to a massive copper wire theft at a cell tower near Sprauge, where detectives say $400,000 of damage was done.

Priest has a warrant for burglary, theft and malicious mischief. He`s also wanted in Spokane County for multiple crimes.

His convictions include burglary, possession of stolen property and drugs.

He's 45 years old, 5’8” and weighs 160 pounds.
