WHATCOM COUNTY – Bellingham police are asking for help identifying a barn or machine shop that they believe was the crime scene when two girls were kidnapped and sexually assaulted in May.

They said it’s likely the structure is in the Sumas, Everson or Northeast Lynden area.

It’s enclosed on three sides, has a gravel floor, and the front is likely made of wood with metal poles.

There are no other structures in front of it.
