Suspect captured after two killed, two injured in Oregon shooting

WOODBURN, Ore. -- Authorities say a lone person killed two people and wounded two others and then fled the scene outside the town of Woodburn, in northwest Oregon, before being captured on an interstate highway east of Portland.

Lt. Chris Baldridge of the Marion County Sheriff's Office said the suspect was detained Monday without incident by officers of the Oregon State Police.

The shootings happened on a farm east of the town of Woodburn, which is located about halfway between Portland and Salem, the state capitol.

Details were not immediately released. An ambulance was on the scene.
