Help deputies ID suspect who used credit card stolen from mailbox at Tacoma apartments

TACOMA -- Pierce County sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help to identify this suspect who used a credit card stolen out of the mail at an apartment complex in the 10700 block of A St. S in Tacoma.

Deputies say the card was used at the Arco/AMPM on 112th and Steele. The suspect was driving the pictured white car.

"The credit cards were stolen out of a mailbox so it's important to maybe have your cards mailed to your bank where you can go pick them up. Mail theft is a rising issue because it's really easy pickings to get somebody's credit card or checks and then go abuse them and steal somebody's ID," said Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer.

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who can identify the suspect.
