Driver killed after being ejected from car in Redmond crash

REDMOND, Wash. -- Police are investigating a crash that left one person dead Monday morning in Redmond.

Part of West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE near NE 24th Street was closed after a car went down an embankment. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, police said.

It's unclear what led to the crash.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim.

The road reopened to traffic around 7:45 a.m.
