Everett student arrested for allegedly threatening classmate on Snapchat

EVERETT, Wash. – An 18-year-old Cascade High School student was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly sending another student threatening messages on Snapchat, Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies said.

Court documents claim the student sent a photo of an assault rifle and pistol, along with a threatening message. That was followed by a video of the Columbine shooting, and then a photo of two men wearing masks holding the assault rifle and pistol.

Deputies said that while they were investigating, the boy received more threatening messages.

The suspect told police the guns were replicas. He was booked into jail for stalking and felony harassment.
