Driver killed in fiery one-car crash in Stanwood

STANWOOD, Wash. -- A driver was killed in a fiery crash Thursday night in Stanwood.

Snohomish County sheriff's deputies were called around 10:30 p.m. to the 23400 block of Pioneer Highway.

Deputies said the driver was the only person in the car and died in the crash.

No other cars were involved. The Collision Investigation Unit is looking into what caused the crash.

The driver's identity has not been released.
