Big SNOCAT car theft bust nets 11-time felon who was wanted just months after getting out of prison

The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force (SNOCAT) arrested Joseph Krewson during a bust of a bunch of car thieves at a home in Tulalip reservation housing on Thursday.

The 11-time convicted felon had a Department of Corrections warrant for his arrest and was was wanted for trafficking in stolen property and possession of stolen property.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY May 27, 2016 --
The North Snohomish County Property Crimes Unit is on the hunt for Joseph Krewson.

He has a Department of Corrections warrant for escape after he failed to report in as he was required to do and detectives want him for trafficking stolen property.

"He's normally in the Everett, Marysville area. We've known him to be out on Camano Island as well and down in Lynnwood, so he's kind of all over Snohomish County,” says Snohomish County Det. Glenn DeWitt. “He's an 11 time convicted felon. He's a dangerous guy and he needs to be in custody."

Those convictions include assault, attempting to elude and residential burglary.

He’s 33 years old, 5'9" and 160 pounds.
