Police: Clerk attacked inside West Seattle convenience store

SEATTLE -- Police are searching for a suspect who “viciously attacked” a clerk inside a 7-Eleven overnight. It happened at the store located on the 9000 block of Delridge Way SW in West Seattle just before one Thursday morning.

The store clerk suffered injuries to his face and was transported to the hospital.  Police on-scene said the attack didn’t appear to be a robbery, but the circumstances are still unclear.

There are security cameras inside and outside the store. Police did not have a description of the suspect.
