Despite chances Sounders fall 1-0 to Colorado Rapids



Seattle - In front of a crowd of more than 41-thousand, the Sounders loss their first match at home since March as they dropped 1-0 to the Rapids Saturday evening. The Rapids scored just before half off a corner kick.

The Sounders had multiple chances thanks to the strong attack led by Clint Dempsey and Jordan Morris but were unlucky their striking the ball wide or straight to the goalkeeper or a defender. The squad was not at full strength. Both Nelson Valdez and Chad Marshall missed the match.

With the loss the Sounders drop to 4-6-1.
