Arrest warrant issued for 42-year-old man accused of fatal hit-and-run of motorcyclist

TACOMA -- An arrest warrant has been issued for a 42-year-old man charged with leaving the scene of an accident that left a motorcyclist dead Wednesday night.

Daniel Bartolome Diego, 42, is 5-foot-4, 170 pounds.

He is accused of leaving the scene of an accident where a driver of a SUV hit and killed a motorcyclist at South 38th and M Street in Tacoma Wednesday night and then fled on foot.

The accident occurred at about 8:20 p.m., police said.

The driver fled on foot heading north. He was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, wearing white T-shirt and blue jeans.
