FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A heartbroken family is asking for help in finding the killer of 19-year-old Jeffrey McLaren, who was gunned down in the parking lot of a Federal Way apartment complex on April 3.

Witnesses saw the suspect run off, but K-9 units couldn't track him.

"We want someone to be brave and step forward and help solve this crime. He was killed for no reason. He was shot and left to die in a parking lot all by himself," McLaren's aunt said.

If you can help detectives solve this case, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS and you could get a $1,000 reward.
