Gunshots ring out in Capitol Hill, bullet hits QFC as people run for cover

SEATTLE -- Gunshots rang out in Capitol Hill in broad daylight Tuesday at the same spot of a shooting several months back.

Witnesses by the QFC on Broadway and E Pike say they heard two gunshots around 2 p.m.

One of the bullets hit the QFC shattering the glass.

Q13 News saw cops interviewing a man at the scene.

Witnesses say the man was attacked by another man.

It’s unclear who had the gun and how it went off but

detectives were not able to locate anyone injured at the scene.  One witness who saw the entire thing says she first saw the two men fighting then she heard gunshots.

“People started running inside, people started panicking, your adrenaline is going so fast I am thinking did I get shot I had to physically think of my body,” said one witness.

The witness tried to capture the shooting on her cell phone but it was too dangerous so she backed off.

Seattle police are investigating but so far no arrests have been made.
