Body of man found in Everett swamp identified

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A man found dead and partially submerged in an Everett swamp on Thursday has been identified by authorities as 54-year-old David A. Webster, of Everett.


In a news release, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office on Monday attributed Webster's death to homicidal violence. No other details were provided.

A passerby initially told police they saw a body floating in the water in the 3400 block of Eclipse Mill Road around noon on Thursday.
