Boy arrested for threatening other students at Silverdale school

SILVERDALE, Wash. -- Kitsap County sheriff's deputies say they arrested a student for making threats to shoot other students at Ridgetop Junior High School.

Deputies got a call Thursday saying the boy told a group of students he wanted to "re-enact Columbine." He apparently was targeting certain students, but it's unclear why.

Detectives tracked the boy down and arrested him Thursday night.

School is in session today, but Kitsap County says they have uniformed patrols at Ridgetop.

No further details were released.
