Traffic clearing after five-mile backup following crash on I-5 northbound in Tacoma

TACOMA - Traffic was clearing at 2 p.m. after it was backed up for five miles on northbound Interstate 5 on Wednesday afternoon following a crash in Tacoma.

Two left lanes were blocked after the crash, which happened near exit 134 at around 12:15 p.m.

The Washington State Patrol said two lanes were blocked during the cleanup.

There was no immediate word on whether anybody was injured.
