Morris called into U.S. U-23, leave won't impact MLS playing time

SEATTLE --

U.S. Soccer announced the 22-man roster for the U.S. U-23 Men's National Team for training camp in advance of the USA taking on Colombia. Sounders FC rookie Jordan Morris was selected.

The United States will play a two match home-and-away playoff against Colombia for a berth to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The first match is schedule for Friday, March 25th at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Melendez in Barranquilla, Columbia. The second will be played at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas on March 29th.

Fortunately, the Sounders FC has a bye week and Morris is not expected to miss any MLS matches while he is away on National Team duties.
