FOUND: Missing 16-year-old Everett High School student has been contacted, police say

EVERETT, Wash. -- Police said late Friday night that they had made contact with a  missing 16-year-old Everett High School student who did not return home Thursday night.

Earlier Friday, police put out a call for help in finding Nanci Loza-Liera, who was last seen near the parking lot at Lincoln Field at 1898 25th St. in Everett at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

"Nanci did not return home last night," the police news release said. "This behavior is out of the ordinary and Nanci's parents are very concerned about her safety and welfare as it is unlike her to be out of contact with the family. Nanci is a good student with no history of running away."
