Violent motel room shooting suspect, four-time felon arrested by Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force in Yakima

FUGITIVE CAPTURED April 25, 2016 --
Gilbert Lundon was arrested on Monday by The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force in Yakima.

Officers say he tried to run, but was arrested without incident and booked into the Yakima County Jail.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN YAKIMA March 18, 2016 –
Yakima Police are hoping you can help find "armed and dangerous" fugitive Gilbert Lundon, who goes by ‘Eddie.”

Detectives say he and another man were both armed with guns when they forced their way into a room at the Sunshine Motel on Wednesday. Detectives say they fought with a man who was inside the room – and shot him.

The victim survived.

The second suspect was quickly caught after the shooting, but Lundon got away.

Yakima Police have probable cause to arrest him for Assault 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree and Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm 1st Degree.

Lundon is a four-time felon.

He’s 29 years old.
