Police: Renter unhappy about being evicted crashes into home, gets arrested for DUI

BURIEN, Wash. -- A renter who was being evicted from a Burien home drove around the block, hit a parked car and eventually crashed into the very same home, authorities say.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, a homeowner was in the process of evicting a renter who wasn't too happy about it Tuesday morning. Sgt. Cindi West said the renter got into his pickup truck and crashed into the home near 9th Ave S and 102nd St.

There was some minor damage to the home but nobody was hurt.

The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital after suffering minor injuries. He was then arrested for suspicion of DUI.

The renter's identity has not been released because he has not yet been charged.
