Cable worker shocked by live wire in Kitsap County

SILVERDALE, Wash. -- A live wire shocked a cable worker Tuesday afternoon near Anderson Landing in Kitsap County.

According to Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue, a Wave Broadband employee came into contact with the live wire around 12:30 p.m. while working in the 8000 block of NW Anderson Hill Road. It's unclear exactly what happened.

Authorities said a truck driver reported the accident. They didn't know if he was with the worker at the time or if he came upon the incident.

The victim was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The victim's condition is unknown.
