Seattle homeowner says man tried to kick her front door in: 'I was terrified, I was so scared...'

SEATTLE -- A homeowner in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood is shaken after a man tried to kick down her front door after she had just left to take her kids to school.

Surveillance video captured the face of the suspect. The homeowner said she checked the video Tuesday when she found a muddy footprint in the middle of her front door.

The video shows the man going all around her house, checking doors and windows, as he tried to get in. A neighbor said the same guy tried to get into his house just 20 minutes before he started trying to kick Shelby Davidson's door in.

"I was terrified," Davidson said in an interview Thursday. "I was so scared the whole day, thinking what if we'd been home? What if my kids had been here with me? What if he had gotten in?"

If you can identify the suspect in the screen images from the video, call the Seattle Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS. The report number is SPD# 2016-82167.
