WMW viewer tips lead to convicted felon suspected of hitting cop car, nearly striking Lynnwood Police officer

FUGITIVE CAPTURED March 6, 2016 --
Snohomish County fugitive Steven Preslar was taken into custody in Bellevue early Sunday morning by Everett Police.

The arrest came from tips that Preslar was hiding out with his girlfriend in a hotel there. Officers arrested him and brought him to the Snohomish County jail where he is being held on $115,000 bond for domestic violence assault and Theft.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN LYNNWOOD March 4, 2016 --
Lynnwood Police have probable cause to arrest convicted felon, Steven Preslar, for Assault 3, Hit and Run Unattended, and other crimes.

Everett Police also have probable cause to arrest Preslar for Vehicle Prowl and other crimes.

Lynnwood detectives say Preslar tried selling stolen vehicle parts back to the victim at a parking lot. The victim called police. When officers arrived, they say Preslar tore out of the parking lot, nearly hitting two civilians and striking a civilian vehicle and a police car -- and nearly striking a police officer.

Preslar has been convicted of felony theft.
