Arlington police investigating report of an 11-year-old student threatening bus driver with knife

ARLINGTON, Wash. -- Arlington police said Thursday they are investigating a report of an 11-year-old Marysville student threatening a school bus driver with a knife.

"The reporting party informed dispatchers that the driver had stopped the bus after being confronted by the student, who wanted to exit the bus prior to their destination," the police said in a news release. "Officers located the knife and later identified the 11-year-old Marysville student.

"The case is pending further investigation."
