2 people hurt in collision with firetruck in Seattle



SEATTLE -- Two people were injured in a collision with a fire truck Thursday afternoon in Seattle.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, a fire engine was involved in a collision with a car around 12:30 p.m. near S Jackson St & 16th Ave S.

Officials say both people injured were in the car. They were both taken to Harborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

No firefighters were hurt.

Seattle police said traffic collision detectives were responding to the scene.
